Marina Ovsyannikova Faces Up To 15 Years In Prison For Protesting Against Russia Invasion of Ukraine

An anti-war protester on Monday interrupted a live broadcast of Russia’s state TV Channel One, denouncing the invasion of Ukraine.

The protester, identified as Marina Ovsyannikova, editor of Russian state-owned Channel 1, was arrested. She currently faces up to 15 years in prison.
