Marsai Martin had her producing debut with “Little” and she’s not stopping there.
The 14-year-old “Black-ish” star is now taking on a new film, “Amari and the Night Brothers,” as both star and producer.
She will be producing alongside her father Josh Martin, Don Cheadle and Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman of Mandeville Films, according to The Grio.
The film will be an adaptation of the book of the same name by B.B. Alston about a black girl who discovers she has hidden powers, which will not be released until 2021.
Universal Pictures secured the rights to the film after a long bidding war involving other studios including Disney, Paramount and Sony, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
