Eight people were confirmed dead at Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival over the weekend, after continuous pleas to stop the music were ignored by the artist festival crew members. Some of the victims names have been released to the public.
Hundreds of others were injured during the opening night of a popular weekend music festival at NRG Park, authorities said.
Travis Scott was warned about the crowd at Astroworld Fest by Houston Police Chief who visited his trailer to speak about public safety concerns before the show.
