- Esteban Grassi: The head of reception at the hotel, also facing manslaughter charges. Grassi has not been detained pre-trial.
Investigation Findings:
The investigation revealed that Payne had alcohol, cocaine, and a prescribed antidepressant in his system at the time of his death. Authorities have ruled out both suicide and foul play, attributing his death to a tragic accident.
The charges against the five individuals stem from allegations of negligence and failure to provide necessary care and assistance, as well as involvement in drug transactions with Payne.
