Hendry County school principal, Melissa Carter under investigation for paddling 6-year-old student in front of child’s mother.
The incident happened on April 13th when the school called the child’s mother about a $50 dollar fee she’s owes due to the student causing damage to a computer.
When the mother arrived to the school. Her child was already in the principal office. She claims the principal started to yell and there was no camera in the principal office. So she hid her phone in her purse and recorded the incident
The mother claimed she sacrificed her daughter so all parents could see what’s happening in the school, according to Wink News.
Some school districts in Florida allow corporal punishment, but the Hendry County School District does not.
