Mia Goth shared a funny and honest story from her fan days in her teenage years on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Mia Goth confessed that she used to camp outside Amy Winehouse’s home for years in the hope of meeting the singer.

Goth stated that she was “a complete fanatic” as a young fan and set out to find where Winehouse lived.

“One day, I discovered where she lived, and I thought to myself, ‘Brilliant!'” Goth said. “And I went there for years.”

The frequent visits escalated to other levels. Some people even camped outside the house as part of her routine with her friends.

“It got to a point where I was so determined to see Amy Winehouse that I decided that we had to start camping outside the house,” she stated, referring to the activity as her “hobby.”

Goth remembers a day when she was alone. She didn’t let that hold her back.

“So I go there, and there’s no one there,” she said. “I knock on the door, and she answers on her little monitor. She says, ‘Hello.'”

Surprised that Winehouse actually responded, Goth ad-libbed.

“So I say, ‘Hi, Amy!’ and I didn’t expect her to pick up, so I just said, ‘I’ve got your guitar,'” she said.

Goth said that Winehouse seemed bewildered before the line went dead.

“She’s like, ‘What?’ and she hung up,” Goth said.

Although the call ended abruptly, Goth found the experience to be unforgettable.

“But it was everything I ever needed,” she said.
