Michael B. Jordan will sit in the director’s chair for the third Creed film, marking his directorial debut, according to Deadline.
Tessa Thompson and Rocky legend Sylvester Stallone will be returning for their roles in the ‘Creed’ series. MGM has tapped Zach Baylin, the screenwriter behind the upcoming Richard Williams biopic “King Richard,” to write the screenplay for “Creed 3,” according to The Wrap.
The original 2016 film was directed by Ryan Coogler and was met with critical acclaim. For the 2018 follow-up, Steve Caple Jr. stepped in to take over from Coogler. The film did well at the box office but didn’t receive quite as much praise as its predecessor.
