Hornets owner and six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan is pledging $1 million to organizations assisting with Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas.

The Category 5 storm hit the Bahamas on Sept. 1. The government’s official death toll was at 50 on Tuesday but is expected to grow. MJ also donated millions to relief efforts in his hometown of Wilmington NC last year as well.
