Missing Birmingham 3-year-old Kamille ‘Cupcake’ McKinney’s body believed found in dumpster

The disappearance of this child has been one of the most difficult stories I’ve ever had to cover. For 10 days Birmingham Police and FBI have been looking for this girl. For 10 days we have been praying and thinking about this girl and her family. Today I am sick and in tears after learning that police believe HER remains were found in a landfill. I can’t for the life of me figure out why there are monsters who do things like this. An innocent child. This precious face has stolen our hearts, every where I’ve gone people have asked me if there are any updates. We ALL have been hoping and praying that she’d be reunited with her family, but here we are. It’s not the news any of us hoped for. I personally am absolutely heartbroken, so I can’t IMAGINE how her loved ones must be feeling. If you have a praying bone in your body, please ask God to bring Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney’s family strength in this extremely difficult time. I hope this precious angel rests in peace. I hope justice is served, and I hope that as a community we come together during this tragic time.
