‘MOTHERLAND: FORT SALEM’ SEASON 2 CAST INTERVIEWS|Ashley Nicole Williams, Jessica Sutton, Lyne Renee, Demetria McKinney and Amalia Holm

Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem left on a huge cliffhanger at the end of Season One. Witches Raelle (Taylor Hickson), Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams), and Tally (Jessica Sutton) graduated from Basic Training so General Alder (Lyne Renee) took them to rescue the Tarim witches in hiding. This is where things begin to unravel. In the battle against their ancient enemy the Camaria one of Alder’s biddies general’s lifespan fell, and Tally took her place.

Raelle was then stabbed, and Abigail refused to leave her behind. General Alder had to make the decision to leave them behind but in doing so some sort of “magical occurrence”  was released from around them and protected them.

Lastly Anacostia (Demetria McKinney) the drill sergeant, let Scylla (Amalia Holm) go and followed her to one of the radical witches’ houses leading to the discovery that Scylla was meeting  Willa, Raelle’s mother, who’s actually not dead.

For Season Two the ladies of Motherland: Fort Salem promise more twist and turns, explanations for the cliffhangers in Season One, and relationship teases. In Season One the focus was on “girl power” and the women working as a unit. Now in Season Two we focus on the ladies’ individual stories as we focus on new threats, new relationships, and new discoveries within.

Check out interviews with Ashley Nicole Williams, Jessica Sutton, Lyne Renee, Demetria McKinney and Amalia Holm.

Season Two of Motherland:Fort Salem premieres on Freeform June 22nd, 2021.
