Naomi Osaka knocked out in the first round at Wimbledon

In a major upset, Yulia Putintseva defeated Osaka 7-6(4), 6-2 to secure a spot in the second round. It’s just the fourth time a women’s top-2 seed lost her opening match at Wimbledon in the Open Era.
