Netflix to Open New Engineering Hub in Poland

This January marks exactly six years since Netflix launched their Polish language service, and now that they created over 30 Polish films and TV series, including hits like High Water and How I Fell in Love with the Gangster.

Today, the streaming company is excited to announce that they also created an engineering hub in Poland, based in their recently opened Warsaw office.

Netflix’s engineers in Poland will help build the products for their internal and external creative partners use to deliver shows and films to members all around the world – hits like Wednesday, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and The Crown. 

The streaming company says Poland has amazing engineering talent given its excellent universities and strong developer community, and they can’t wait to see the innovation and creativity that comes from their hub there.
