Nia Long Set To Star & Produce ‘Dreams Of The Moon," Announces Scholarship In Memory Of Her Dad

Nia Long to Executive Produce & Star in Director Alfons Adetuyi’s ‘Dreams of the Moon’ Drama. Eden Duncan-Smith, from the Netflix and Spike Lee-produced film See You Yesterday, will also star, according to Deadline. The legendary actress recently announced a new scholarship to honor the legacy of her father, Doughtry Long.
To honor her father’s legacy, Nia and her sister, Djamila McRae, traveled to Trenton Central High – their dad’s alma mater that he also taught at – to announce the establishment of the Doughtry “Doc” Long Scholarship for deserving students.
Trenton Central High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Trenton, New Jersey.
