Halloween has gotten off to a spine-tingling start with the dropped brand-new teaser trailer for Heart Eyes, this highly anticipated Valentine’s Day-themed horror movie that’s going to hit theaters in early 2025. Packed with thrills, chills, and gruesome kills, this slasher film is something no horror fan will want to miss.
The teaser introduces us to the infamous Heart Eyes Killer, giving audiences a sneak peek into their brutal murder spree targeting couples. Having already showcased two savage kills, Heart Eyes is bound to be a bloody and suspenseful experience that will have fans on the edge of their seats, wanting more.
Move over, Ghostface-there’s a new slasher in town, and this killer has an unnatural obsession with couples. The teaser just looks perfect for suspense, mystery, and heart-pounding terror that will surely make it stand out from the other horror movies of 2025.
Heart Eyes comes from production powerhouse Spyglass Media Group, producers of Scream 2022 and Scream VI 2023, alongside Screen Gems and Divide/Conquer. Yet another epic assemblage of horror talent, Heart Eyes is directed by Josh Ruben, co-writer/director of the comedy-horror Werewolves Within. Co-written by Murphy (Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard), Michael Kennedy (Time Cut, Freaky) and Christopher Landon (We Have a Ghost, Happy Death Day 2U).
The film stars Olivia Holt of Totally Killer and Mason Gooding of Scream VI as two coworkers mistaken for a couple by the Heart Eyes Killer when they end up working late on Valentine’s Day. Pressed into a terrifying fight for survival, the pair will have to work together to outwit their deadly pursuer. Alongside Holt and Gooding in this slasher thriller are such luminaries as Devon Sawa, Jordana Brewster, and Gigi Zumbado.
Heart Eyes hits theaters on February 7, 2025, just in time to add some thrills to Valentine’s season. So grab some popcorn, steady your nerves, and mark your calendars for what is sure to be a bloody good time!
