No one can quite ruffle feathers like Omarosa Manigault. The feisty 43-year-old, who was recently ousted from her position as Director of Communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison has a new role, she’ll be appearing on the new season of Big Brother which is doing a celebrity edition. How many of you can’t wait to see the tea that is sure to spill and the indefinite shade that is going to be thrown?
The Queen of Showdown, Omarosa, came into the scene in the celebrity world via the first season of the show, The Apprentice, in which a group of businessmen and women were judged by none other than the current Commander in Chief, President Donald Trump to see if they could run one of his (probably failed) businesses. Since the first season of the show in 2004, Omarosa (which she goes by mononymously) has been dubbed the Nastiest TV Villains of All Time. From on-camera showdowns with Kwame Jackson, Wendy Williams, Latoya Jackson, and more, the diva claims that her on-air persona is simply that, a persona.
Her reality TV persona seems to be an entity that Omarosa can’t shake, it’s rumored that her tenure at the White House was nothing less than full-on TV drama. Omarosa is said to have allegedly verbally attacked reporters, had diva-styled meltdowns, and had to be physically thrown out of the White House during her departure. Despite the alleged drama, Omarosa claims that her resignation came after growing tired of the Trump Administration’s take on racially charged issues. The former Director of Communications even stated that she taped conversations between White House Officials that made her as a woman of color feel ‘uncomfortable.’
Since her rise to fame, many people in communities of color have had all but full-on hatred for the diva. Her allegiance to Donald Trump and the Republican party seemed to have sealed the deal for many people including the star’s own family and friends. Omarosa has mentioned in interviews that her relationship with Donald Trump (that has been to many an odd, twisted friendship) for over the last 14 years has caused her to lose friends and support from family members. We’re sure that it’s more than that boo, have you seen the way she speaks to people?
No stranger to backstabbing and setting people up, we don’t know what’s true and what isn’t when it comes to this Drama Queen, but we do know that she’d make one hell of a castmate for Celebrity Big Brother. The show involves castmates living in a home with multiple cameras and microphones watching their every move. The contestants also compete in weekly competitions. This season’s celebrity castmates include former NBA player Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest), Keshia Knight Pulliam (known for her role as Rudy Huxtable on the Cosby Show), Brandi Glanville (housewife from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), James Maslow (star of Big Time Rush) and more. Just from looking at some of the castmates, we can see here at #whereisthebuzzz that this season is sure to be a recipe for disaster. What are your takes on Omarosa being the newest castmate of Celebrity Big Brother? Be sure to tune in on Feb. 7th for the new season and be sure to have your tea ready, Omarosa surely will!
