One Piece Episode 1062 Review: Move Out The Way Lucifer, Roronoa Zoro Is The New King of Hell

One Piece Episode 1062 Review: Move Out The Way Lucifer, Roronoa Zoro Is The New King of Hell

‘One Piece’ episode 1062 is the epitome of top-tier animation. Many people witnessed the conclusion of the Zoro versus King fight, which marked the defeat of the final member of Kaido’s Calamities.

Before Zoro slays King, one of the greatest swordsmen of all time decides to show us his new King of Hell three sword style. The new style still has a lot of unknowns because the episode didn’t tell us how Zoro got it. It appears that he infuses his sword with a combination of Armament and Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, which he only recently activated for the first time against King.

Personally, I believe the King of Hell three sword style is still incomplete because it has multiple layers to it, as well as the way Zoro transitioned into it. He appears to be able to use the style only when Enma extracts the greatest amount of Haki from him, both Armament and Conqueror’s Haki. From the quick demonstration in the episode, it makes him more powerful and efficient for long-range attacks. Before the episode ended, he stated that he was coming for the title of ‘King of Hell,’ which leads me to believe that there will be more.

The endurance of Zoro’s new King of Hell three sword style is its weakness. He can’t do it for long because it will kill him; it reminds me of Naruto’s Baryon mode. They both appeared unstoppable in their forms, but their forms were causing them to self-destruct.

Some people may have missed Roronoa Zoro’s statement about becoming “King of Hell.” His devotion to Luffy’s dreams is unparalleled. He is willing to become the devil in order for Luffy to become King of the Pirates. In the flashback, he promises Luffy that he will never lose again. I believe the first time he used Conqueror’s Haki was when he recalled meeting Luffy.

This episode was so thrilling that it left us with so many questions about Zoro’s progress as a swordsman. I’m looking forward to seeing more flashbacks of Zoro’s training sessions with Mihawk and the more things he will provide for the crew.
