OPRAH TO HOST “QUEEN SUGAR: A CELEBRATION SPECIAL”AIRING ON OWN ON AUGUST 9TH

Oprah Winfrey hosts “Queen Sugar: A Celebration Special,” taking viewers back through the show’s roots as she retraces the epic journey of the Bordelon Family through some of their most powerful, poignant, and celebratory moments, counting down the top five moments of the series to air Tuesday, August 9 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, immediately following the mid-season finale of “All Rise.’

A ‘thank you gift to the loyal viewers, through clips and interviews, and reactions from fans, the special looks back over the six magnificent seasons and looks forward to the final season with a sneak peek of what’s to come. Whether you are a devoted fan or new to the series, this special serves as a wonderful opportunity to catch up and be reminded of all the family have gone through and experienced as they continue to find joy through it all.

The entire six seasons are available to stream now on Hulu before the seventh and final season premieres on September 6 at 8 pm on OWN.
