Pamela Anderson sparred with The View’s Meghan McCain about Julian Assange

The 52-year-old actor, who is a vocal Julian Assange supporter, appeared on Friday’s segment of The View, where she discussed WikiLeaks and defended Assange when McCain called him a cyberterrorist. Anderson also discussed Assange’s alleged support for Trump during the 2016 election with host Joy Behar. Pamela Anderson tells Joy Behar that Julian Assange doesn’t support Trump, doesn’t placate to one side, and will release anything he has, on anybody. Joy: “you mean to tell me he had nothing on Trump? Come on” Pamela: “if he had something on Trump, he would’ve put it out there” Pamela Anderson discusses her May visit with Wikileaks founder Jullian Assange while he serves an 11-month sentence in a British prison, saying his “health is really deteriorating” and “there is a lot of danger surrounding his life.” By dunking on John McCain’s daughter, Pamela Anderson is reminding us all that Chelsea Manning is still in jail, Edward Snowden is still in exile, and Julian Assange is about to be prosecuted under the rarely used Espionage Act of 1917.
