Prime Video Orders Legally Blonde Prequel Series “Elle” from Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine

Prime Video has given the go-ahead for “Elle,” a prequel series following the formative years of the renowned figure Elle Woods. The series is a partnership between Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Candle Media.

“Elle” is expected to dive into Elle Woods’ adolescent years, providing insight into the situations that formed her into the indomitable figure beloved by fans around the world. With Laura Kittrell, recognized for her work on “High School” and “Insecure,” as creator, showrunner, and executive producer, the series aims to offer a new perspective on Elle’s path.

Reese Witherspoon expressed her excitement for the project, stating, “I truly couldn’t be more excited about this series!
