Quarterback Dak Prescott Agrees to Four-Year Deal With Cowboys Worth $160 Million, ESPN Says

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal includes a $66 million signing bonus — the highest in NFL history — with $75 million due in year one.

Prescott suffered an ankle injury in the Week 5 game in October against the Giants, forcing season-ending surgery, but is on track for a full recovery.

Dak Prescott’s salary-cap number for this season will be $22.2 million instead of the $37.7 million that would have come along with the franchise tag – a savings of $15.5 million against this season’s cap.

When Dak Prescott’s new deal with Dallas is up after four years, he will be 31 years old – with the chance for an even bigger payday.
