Regé-Jean Page will not be appearing in the second season of Bridgerton (which is now filming) due to scheduling conflicts with the Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man, in which he will be starring alongside Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.
Page took to Twitter about the recent announcement of him not returning as the Duke of Hastings.
“Pleasure and a privilege! An honour to be a member of the family – on and off screen, cast, crew and incredible fans – the love is real and will just keep growing.”
Bridgerton was seen by 63 million households across its first 28 days of release. Netflix announced later that the series surpassed ‘Stranger Things’ as the most watched Netflix Original ever.
