Warner Bros is reportedly eyeing to cast Rihanna as DCEU’s Poison Ivy for their next Batman movie!
“From what we understand, the singer is just one of a few names on the studio’s internal wishlist”!
Poison Ivy has been absent from the Batman film franchise since 1997’s Batman & Robin, and she can certainly do with some redemption after that one. Thankfully, then, it seems she’ll get just that, as the character will feature in the upcoming Gotham City Sirens, but who will play the iconic DC figure the next time we see her?
There is no telling if Rihanna would be interested. Rihanna isn’t new to the blockbuster game but Warner Bros could really use the Barbados Goddess in the D.C. Universe. It already has the billion dollar box office hype. D.C. comics plus one of the worlds biggest stars equates to billion dollars in the box office if the writing and directing of the film is there.
