Drawing on her prior works, Allen sprinkles the “Dumb Blonde” video with subtle references and easter eggs for die-hard admirers. Allen, a versatile photographer, cinematographer, and creative director, remade herself as a DIY rock sensation in 2023 with her debut EP, ‘Fantasy.’ Allen’s EP, which featured five self-directed and produced music videos, gained her praise from notable tastemakers like as The Luna Collective and Unpublished Magazine, cementing her place as a rising star in the indie scene.
rlyblonde has teamed up with producer and multi-instrumentalist Robbie Guariglia, whose credits include The Veronicas and Oh Honey, to embark on a new musical journey, building on her established foundation while pushing creative boundaries.
“Directing and producing my videos is such an integral part of making music for me,” Allen shares. “I’m not just writing songs, I’m building an entire visual world for people to escape into.”
