Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Look Stunning at the “FREE GUY” World Premiere in New York City

It’s not a good day, it’s a great day in New York where stars Ryan Reynolds, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Camille Kostek were joined by director Shawn Levy for a walk down the red carpet where they greeted enthusiastic fans at the world premiere of 20th Century Studios’ “Free Guy.” The screening occurred at the AMC Lincoln Center theater on the Upper West Side.

In 20th Century Studios’ epic adventure-comedy “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi, “Free Guy” is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn and a story by Lieberman.

The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds, p.g.a., Shawn Levy, p.g.a., Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Adam Kolbrenner with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.

On July 28, Xbox and “Free Guy” launched the first-ever Xbox Game Pass Non-Player Character (NPC) Awards to celebrate and honor the greatest unsung heroes in video games. Fans around the world are encouraged to vote for their favorite NPC via the Xbox Twitter Poll now through August 3, with nominees including Doom’s Samuel Hayden, The Outer Worlds’ Parvati Holcomb, Sea of Thieves’ Chief Trader Mollie and of course, Guy from “Free Guy.” Xbox will announce the winner across social channels that afternoon. Additionally, Xbox and Hoonigan Industries will unveil a special surprise at the “Free Guy” world premiere.

Other highlights of the evening:

Xbox and Hoonigan Industries, the leading lifestyle motorsport brand, unveiled a life-sized, scale replica of a Warthog from the Halo franchise.

Hoonigan worked closely with the team at Halo and 343 Industries to develop this special project-built and fully functional Warthog, using hi-res images from Halo Infinite, launching this holiday season.

Standing tall on 43-inch tires and featuring a 1000+ horsepower and twin turbo small block Ford V8, this off-road tested Warthog is ready to carry Spartans into battle. Keep a close eye out during Free Guy and you might even catch a glimpse of certain all-terrain vehicles and tanks from the Halo universe!

Additionally, Ryan Reynolds announced the winner of the first-ever Xbox Game Pass Non-Player Character Awards as Doom’s Samuel Hayden.
