Seven killed during mass demonstration against military rule in Sudan, state news agency says

Seven people were killed and dozens wounded in Sunday’s demonstrations

Revealed the Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Killing seven people and injuring 181, including 27 with gunshot wounds and the rest from various injuries caused by Sunday’s demonstrations across the country.

Protesters rallied on Sunday against the military’s refusal to hand control to civilians. The protest follows the death of dozens after security forces stormed a protest sit-in in Khartoum on June 3rd.

Sudan’s Transitional Military Council said that unknown snipers shot at least six civilians and three members of the Rapid Support Forces as tens of thousands marched in the capital demanding a return to civilian rule.
