“SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS” New York VIP Gold Open Screening and Q and A

Tonight stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Meng’er Zhang and Fala Chen joined Gold House and Cape to celebrate the release of Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings” for a VIP Screening and Q & A moderated by Awkwafina.

Gold House is the premier nonprofit collective of Asian founders, creative voices, and leaders dedicated to unifying the world’s largest populace–Asians and Pacific Islanders–to fight for authentic multicultural representation and societal equity. Our ventures include membership systems and benefits to fortify relationships among Asians and with other marginalized communities (#StopAsianHate, All of Us Movement); championing authentic Asian representation through media to reshape public opinion (Gold Open, Gold Records, A100 List); and accelerating economic success and commercial representation through Asian founders (Gold Rush, Founder Network, Angel Network).

Notable guests who also came to support the film included: Daniel Dae Kim, Padma Lakshmi, Bing Liu, BD Wong, Phillip Lim, Alex Wong, Diane Paragas, Kaylee Bryant David Henry Hwang, Mat Abad, Jeanne Grey and Jim Kwik.

“Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings” is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers. Dave Callaham & Destin Daniel Cretton & Andrew Lanham wrote the screenplay and the screen story is by Dave Callaham & Destin Daniel Cretton.
