Should Zendaya and Tom Holland Be The Leads In ‘Atlantis: The Lost Empire’ Live-Action?

Disney hasn’t announced an ‘Atlantis: The Lost Empire’ live-action film but with all the remakes they are doing. We may have a live-action film about Atlantis. The question is who will be cast as Milo James Thatch and Princess Kida? Many people want to see the real-life couple Tom Holland and Zendaya as the lead.

The two have proved that they can generate almost over 4 billion dollars while sharing the screen in three Spider-man films. People will argue that Marvel is the main reason for those numbers but separately they are still box office.

Zendaya has grossed over $800 million between ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘Dune’. People could argue that she was only in the ‘Dune’ film for like 10 minutes but they can’t argue that she’s the lead in the second-biggest HBO series of all time. ‘Euphoria’ has made Zendaya an Emmy-winning actress but the show averaged around 16.3 million viewers across all platforms in its second season.

Tom Holland’s latest film ‘Uncharted’ has grossed over $400 million at the box office this year. Which showed he’s a box office star without portraying Spider-Man.

Disney’s recent live-action films have all grossed over a billion dollars at the box office besides ‘Dumbo’ but the film did over $350 million. The ‘Atlantis: The Lost Empire’ grossed $186 million but with Zendaya and Tom Holland cast as leads the film could do $700+ million at the box office with a good script and a smart director.
