This week has been a weird and wild week in music. Actually, the last 24 hours in the music industry has been crazy. The Weeknd dissed Drake on his new collaboration with Gesaffelstein.
Lil Uzi went on his Instagram story to announce he is quitting music. He wants to go back to the times in 2013 and he also wants to be free.
Slim Jxmmi shocked fans when he seemingly announced that the duo is breaking up. Taking to Twitter, Jxmmi implied that he is done being in the group and plans to pursue a solo career. “I’m not Rae Sremmurd I’m slim jxmmi and ima sink or swim by myself,” he wrote in a series of since-deleted tweets. “Y’all won it’s a wrap.” He also made reference to the other half of Rae Sremmurd, his brother Swae Lee. “Y’all still got ya mans swae y’all a be skraight,” he wrote.Lil Uzi Vert said he’s done with music ???? pic.twitter.com/UUnvW7EcEj
