Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Becomes Highest Grossing Ever For A Black Artist

Beyoncé is still in the midst of her Renaissance World Tour, but she’s already outdone herself by shattering her own records.

The ‘I’M THAT GIRL’ singer is currently touring North America on the second leg of her massive tour, having recently visited New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Chicago.

After traveling through Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, Amsterdam, and, of course, London, where she gave an impressive five nights of performances at Tottenham Stadium, she has already finished her European tour.

Beyoncé now appears to have broken the record for the highest-grossing tour by a Black artist in history after grossing an eye-watering $296 million thus far, according to Chart Data, with the 33rd performance completed and in the books.

Even more astounding is the fact that Queen Bey still has over 20 shows left on the Renaissance tour before it concludes in October, which means the tour is still only about halfway through.

Her most recent achievement means the tour has surpassed artists like Tina Turner and Michael Jackson, whose highest-grossing tours, which, coincidentally, both took place between 1996 and 1997, brought in $130 million and $165 million respectively.

The Houston musician just broke the record for the highest-earning performances by a female artist in history. She made over $16.5 million from every night she performed at MetLife Stadium, according to Twitter’s Chart Data.
