Sofia Wylie and Dara Reneé Are Taking The “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” To The Next Level

The show takes place at East High School, “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” introduces members of the drama club and their faculty advisers as they work their way toward the opening night of their school’s first-ever production of “High School Musical: The Musical.” New romances blossom, old friendships are tested to their limit while new ones are formed, rivalries flare, and lives are changed forever as these students discover the transformative power that only high school theater can provide. The series stars Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Mark St. Cyr and Kate Reinders. The limited release dropped on November 8th and the initial release came on November 12th. Episode 2 is currently flooding everybody timeline. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’s preview did 2.01 million viewers in the first half and 1.46 million viewers in the second half on ABC. Freeform and Disney Channel simulcast ratings have not been revealed yet. It got 474k viewers on Disney Channel and 293k viewers on Freeform. Overall, it did 2,800,000 viewers across all networks.
