Wendy A. Okolo earned a bachelor’s in aerospace engineering from UTA and, at age 26, became the first black woman to earn a PhD in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2015.
Dr. Wendy is an aerospace research engineer at the Ames Research Center, a major NASA research center in California’s Silicon Valley.
