Stefon Diggs Sues Model Mulan Hernandez for Assault, Property Damage, and Extortion

Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs has filed a lawsuit against model and reality television personality Mulan Hernandez, along with her associate Brianna Mack, alleging assault, property damage, trespassing, and an attempt to extort millions from him. The lawsuit, filed in Harris County, Texas, details a disturbing series of events that allegedly took place in June 2024, leading Diggs to seek damages ranging between $250,000 and $1 million.

Incident at Diggs’ Residence

According to the legal complaint, Diggs, 31, claims that he and Hernandez had a casual relationship. However, their interactions allegedly took a turn for the worse on June 7, 2024, when Hernandez arrived uninvited at Diggs’ apartment at approximately 6 a.m. following a night of partying.

The lawsuit states that upon entering the residence, Hernandez became aggressive and began berating Diggs. Despite his repeated requests for her to leave, she allegedly refused and escalated the situation. Diggs claims that Hernandez proceeded to enter his gaming room, where she destroyed a high-end gaming PC and damaged a $130,000 wristwatch. Additionally, she allegedly threw his phone into a toilet.

Physical Altercation and Alleged Threats

The lawsuit further accuses Hernandez of physically assaulting Diggs by repeatedly punching him in the chest. Diggs also claims that during the altercation, Hernandez made a veiled threat about his football career, stating, “You won’t be playing this year.”

Fearing further escalation, Diggs reportedly left his apartment after Hernandez refused to leave.

Alleged Extortion Attempt Following the Incident

In the days following the altercation, Diggs alleges that Hernandez and Mack conspired to extort him. According to the lawsuit, Hernandez initially sought medical attention on June 7, citing nausea and vomiting after allegedly slipping on a wet kitchen floor. However, on June 14, she reportedly visited another medical provider and claimed that she had been punched in the back of the head with a closed fist.

Diggs firmly denies these allegations, maintaining that any physical contact between him and Hernandez was in self-defense. He also asserts that he had no direct interaction with her leading up to her second medical visit.

Legal Claims and Financial Damages

The lawsuit lists multiple claims against Hernandez and Mack, including:

• Trespassing – Entering Diggs’ residence without permission
• Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress – Causing severe emotional distress through harassment and threats
• Conspiracy – Coordinating actions with Mack to allegedly extort Diggs
• Aiding and Abetting – Assisting in an unlawful scheme against Diggs

Additionally, Hernandez faces charges of assault and conversion for allegedly damaging Diggs’ property.

Diggs is seeking monetary relief exceeding $250,000 but not more than $1 million in damages.

Attorney’s Statement and Diggs’ Response

Kent Schaffer, Diggs’ attorney, emphasized that the lawsuit was necessary to put an end to ongoing threats and harassment.

“There were threats coming from [Hernandez] that he had to pay her money, or she was going to go public and ruin his career,” Schaffer stated. “We’re at the point where the threats have to stop. That’s why the decision was made to file this lawsuit.”

Diggs has not made a public statement regarding the lawsuit beyond the legal filing.

Current Status and Pending Legal Proceedings

As of now, neither Mulan Hernandez nor Brianna Mack has publicly responded to the allegations or the lawsuit. The case is expected to proceed through the Harris County court system in the coming months.

Stefon Diggs, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, played for the Houston Texans during the 2024 season until he suffered a season-ending ACL tear. He is currently a free agent.
