Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios have released the first official trailer for Supergirl on Tuesday.
The film features Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, portrayed by actress Milly Alcock. Supergirl is a young hero portrayed by the actress in the movie. The movie has been directed by Craig Gillespie, written by Ana Nogueira, and produced by DC Studios’ executives Peter Safran and James Gunn.
Recently, Supergirl has been included on DC Studios’ list of new films. “A symbol of strength, power, and resilience, Supergirl is coming in big, bold, and full of heart.”
The film features Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, Jason Momoa, and Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, played by Milly Alcock. Supergirl is a character from DC Comics, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The movie has Rob Hardy on cinematography, Neil Lamont on production design, Tatiana S. Riegel on editing, Anna B. Sheppard on costume design, Geoffrey Baumann on visual effects, and Ramin Djawadi on music composition.
Supergirl is scheduled to hit theaters globally on June 24, 2026. The film is scheduled for a theater and IMAX release in the United States on June 26, 2026. Warner Bros. Pictures will handle the movie’s distribution.
