Taylor Swift’s Midnights debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 1.578 million units (1.14 million pure sales). It becomes her 11th #1 album. She ties Barbra Streisand for the most #1 albums in Billboard 200 history among women. She officially breaks and triples the all-time vinyl record in the US with 575,000.

Swift becomes the first artist to debut nine albums with over 500k units on the Billboard 200.

Taylor Swift’s Midnights earned the biggest week for any album in the US since Adele’s ‘25’ in 2015. Midnights marks Swift’s biggest opening week of her career with 1.578 MILLION units, surpassing ‘1989’ (1.287M). Swift has the number #2 and #4 spots for the biggest opening week of a female album.

Swift earns the biggest streaming week in US HISTORY for an album by a woman (549.26M). It’s the third largest week ever, after Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ and ‘Certified Lover Boy.’ Swift reached over 10 BILLION streams on Spotify in 2022. She records the biggest streaming year for any female artist in the platform’s history.

Taylor Swift expected to become the first artist in history to occupy the entire Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously.
