Tekashi 69 aka Daniel Hernandez escapes serious jail time for child sex case. Tekashi 69, has been one of the hottest rappers out this past year. The Brooklyn born rapper must complete a 1000 hours of community service during his four year probation. He must also avoid both additional arrest and gang activity.

The sentence is a win for the rapper. He can still make money from putting out more hits and he can still perform in his city. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office wanted him to be sentenced to 1-3 years in prison and register as a sex offender, according to Pitchfork.

Tekashi has been in the legal system since 2015. He admitted to using a 13-year-old child in a sexual performance as part of a “youthful offender” plea deal. Under the terms of that deal, the case would eventually be closed if he remained on good behavior for two years. He was also required to get his GED and finish 300 hours of community service.

In May, Tekashi was arrested twice and taken into custody for allegedly attacking a 16 year old in Texas. Also, that same month, he was arrested in Brooklyn for allegedly driving with an expired license and then assaulting a police officer following that arrest.

Tekashi 69, is a very lucky person right now. I still believe he will be back in his old ways in no time. He will still be Instagram trolling like motherf*cka but that what makes him relevant. Also, I could see a new song being released soon.
