Coast-born artist Lady London keeps the momentum at a magnitude, fresh from the release of her debut project “Lady Like: The Boss Tape,” with the official music video unveil of “Lisa’s Story” featuring Harlem rapper Dub Aura. Encapsulating a New York romance story that holds a glowing beam of nostalgia native to her roots, Lady London visually displays the range of her artistry for one of her most revered freestyles with today’s visual release.

Lisa’s Story conceptually came to fruition in 2020 for the NJ/NY creative and went viral over social media instantly upon release as fans— from celebrities to followers— joined in on re-creating overall covers over the irresistible track that flips Foxy Brown’s “Get Me Home.” Directed by Oni Honesty and creative directed by Lady London, London takes on the role of ‘Lisa,’ and calls on Bronx rapper Maliibu Miitch [Give Her Some Money, Double O] to bring to life the role of ‘Dior’—Lisa’s best friend who forewarn her about the risks that may arise from dealing with love interest ‘Money.’ Dub Aura [Notorious featuring Dave East], spits a newly introduced verse from the perspective of Money that adds a dose of dimension to the track and takes listeners on a roller-coaster of emotions for the tantalizing narrative.

Last week, Lady London solidified her status as ‘2022’s Artist to Watch’ with the release of “Lady Like: The Boss Tape, a debut project comprised of thirteen of her most celebrated freestyle snippets that now stands in completion as complete tracks. The project is available to purchase/ stream on all music serve platforms today. As the project toppled Top 10 on the Rap/ Hip Hop Album charts via iTunes, “Lady Like: The Boss Tape” also received praise from Hot New Hip Hop, Lyrical Lemonade, Hip Hop DX, Hip Hop N More and The Source. UPROXX coined the release as “The Best New Hip Hop This Week,” as London received a home-state co-sign via NJ.com as an “Artist You Need to Hear in 2022.” With the international support for Lady London and her dynamic movement in music and more steadily growing, London assures that we will hear more from her sooner than some may expect.
