20th Century Studios has unveiled a new trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2, along with new character posters and first-look photos, sparking renewed interest in one of Hollywood’s most iconic fashion brands.

The sequel, set to be released nearly two decades after the original, brings back the original cast as they once again delve into the world of fashion in New York City and the gleaming offices of Runway magazine. Meryl Streep is set to reprise her role as the formidable Miranda Priestly, an Oscar-winning magazine editor-in-chief, with Anne Hathaway reprising her role as Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt reprising her role as Emily Charlton, and Stanley Tucci reprising his role as the always stylish Nigel.

The sequel also brings back its original creative team, with David Frankel directing and Aline Brosh McKenna penning the script that first brought the 2006 original to life; it remains a cultural phenomenon to this day.

The sequel also brings in new faces to star alongside its original cast, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, Conrad Ricamora, as well as Tracie Thoms reprising her role as Lily, with Tibor Feldman reprising his role as Irv.

The sequel is produced by Wendy Finerman, with Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and Aline Brosh McKenna serving as executive producers. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to be released on May 1st.
