Back to MCU die hard fans, these are the three things you should have took away from the virtual press conference.

1. Kevin Feige revealed the series wasn’t even planned when Marvel decided to start working on Avengers: Infinity War.

“I think we did not know it when we shot Infinity War.  But I think we did know it when we shot Endgame is my-is my recollection of it.”

Feige reveals he was teasing the fans about Loki arc after Avengers: Endgame was released. He says, “Um, what that-what that meant and where that specifically would go, we didn’t know.  Um, but one of my favorite things coming out of Endgame was people saying, um, that we forget to tie up the loose end of Loki.  Loki just disappears and we forgot to mention what happens to him at the end of that movie.”

He added: “At that point, we did know that there was Disney+ coming and the show coming. It became very exciting to, uh, to make people-people wait until, uh, until-until, A, we figured out what the show would be. And now, finally, two days from it, uh, uh, be unveiled to the world is pretty cool.”

2. The character Hunter B-15 portrayed by Wunmi Mosaku does not exist in the Marvel comics.

The moderator (Chris) spoke on Hunter B-15 being a new character. Wunmi Mosaku revealed there is no pressure portraying Hunter B-15.

Wunmi says: “No-no pressure because no one’s got any ideas of what they want her to be. I can [just?] bring you who she is, and you have to accept it. [LAUGH] And that’s just…”

3. Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Tom Hiddleston speak on going to drama school together.

Gugu speaks on going to drama school with Tom Hiddleston. She says, “It’s so weird the circle of life. You know, and, um, the sort of RADA reunion or RADA as someone put it the other day on this show. Um, but it is-there is-there is a comfort, like you say. And I’m so proud of everyone.”

She adds: “You know, and it’s wonderful to see your generation rise.  You know, and as I say, stepping into these surreal, epic, larger-than-life worlds.  But when you have a shared experience, when you remember the same acting tutors and you’ve walked down the same corridor and the same canteen, and, you know, all of these cultural references that we all had.  You know, especially as we ended up shooting in the pandemic, you know, it was a real comfort to have these, you know, long-standing.”
