Tineke “Tini” Younger is dealing with a significant loss.
She revealed one of her twins with her husband, Antoine Wright Jr., is deceased.
“This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A),” she posted on Instagram on Nov. 26. “We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl.”
Even with the abruption, in which the placenta separates from the uterus prematurely, according to the Mayo Clinic, the birth of their second daughter went well and she “is doing really good and breathing on her own.”
“They both are so beautiful, and Arya will always be celebrated,” Tini added. “Her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister,” she explained.
The 24-year-old, who has not revealed the identity of the surviving daughter, decided to step away from her social media platforms in order to grieve, stating, “Not sure for how long but I promise I will be back.”
As an alumna of the ‘Next Level Chef,’ she rose to fame on social media because of her impressive cooking skills, and she has been sharing updates about her life with her partner, Antoine, including her engagement, wedding, and expanding her family.
Thus, it only made sense when she broke the news about her pregnancy with a cooking video.
“Today, we’re gonna be putting a bun in the oven,” Tini stated in the video from June. “We need Antoine’s help for this. It’s a two-person job.”
As they were making the dough, Tini teasingly said, “Two is the magic number today,” with some other clues about the number mentioned in the video. When she took out the bun from the oven, she saw a black board with one message written on it: “bun in the oven 2025.”
“Hold on, that’s not right,” Tini said, verifying the twins with a new sign that read, “2 buns in the oven 2025.”
Later, she followed up the news in a posting on her Instagram page with her and Antoine in the kitchen holding shirts with “sous chefs” printed on them, with Tini adding a caption of the moment, stating, “2 sous chefs on the way.”
Tini and her husband, Antoine, who tied the knot in November 2024, later announced in July that they were expecting twins, girls, although they both believed they were expecting a boy.
A video uploaded by a TikTok user shows a box being opened with pink balloons and pink ribbons inside, indicating girls. They celebrate with joyful dance moves, with Antoine lifting Tini in celebration and turning her around.
