Trioscope and Quality Control Reimagine Entertainment Franchises, Beginning with Action Thriller TAKEOVER, Starring QUAVO

Trioscope, the innovative brand behind The Liberator and Night of the Cooters, is revolutionizing the way entertainment franchises are produced. Today, the company announced the launch of its Takeover World, marking the company’s first-ever Web3-enabled community designed to turbocharge Trioscope and Quality Control’s Takeover franchise by fully immersing its members within the Takeover world.

Earlier this spring, Trioscope, in partnership with Quality Films, greenlit the franchise’s first action thriller Takeover. Starring Atlanta native and multi-hyphenate actor and entertainer Quavo (Atlanta, Black-ish, Wash Me in the River) and set to shoot in Atlanta this August, the film aims to underscore the city’s fascination with street takeover culture using Trioscope’s patented technology that fuses live-action performances with groundbreaking CGI.

Through Takeover World, Trioscope will open a whole new lane of entertainment by developing a franchise before it’s even launched with the support of and in cooperation with fans of takeover and car culture. Anyone can get in on the high-octane action by visiting Takeover. World and joining the Takeover World Discord. Within the Takeover World community, fans will get the chance to collaborate in the development of the Takeover franchise, as well as a front-row seat and exclusive access to the making of the Takeover film and its cast and creators. Through NFT collections, fans can get even more unparalleled access and receive fabulous perks, including the chance to visit the set, get 3D-scanned to play an extra in the film, attend the wrap party, view insider live streams, and more! Holders of the Takeover World’s Sauce Club NFTs will be able to play a first-of-its-kind card collecting and trading game based on a vast world of characters from the Takeover universe. The first of four NFT card collections are scheduled to drop in September.

“This project is the future of movie-making,” says Quavo. “It gets fans involved at the onset of Takeover World, the opportunity to own a piece of a new franchise and the ability to influence and be part of how an action feature gets made.”

“Takeover World is just our initial foray into the Web3 space, where entertainment intersects with crypto, and we plan to expand our capabilities exponentially,” says L.C. Crowley, co-founder, and CEO of Trioscope. “We’re encouraging fans to get in the driver seat with us from the jump to help build the world and shape the story with us.”

Trioscope partnered with Bandwagon to advise and develop the technology for the project. Harold Hughes, CEO of Bandwagon, says: “As an avid movie goer, I always wished that I could be more involved in the stories of some of my favorite films. This project is doing just that as we’re empowering viewers and enthusiasts to contribute directly to the movie while creating a community around the content.”

The news follows a highly successful year for Trioscope, which has seen rapid growth with a recent seed round investment from BITKRAFT, Sony, and more to further pioneer their hybrid content genre for global audiences. In addition to the premiere of The Liberator on Netflix, which reached #3 worldwide for the platform, the company finished production on the short film Night of the Cooters, produced by George R. R. Martin and starring Vincent D’Onofrio, who also directs.
