South African star and Grammy winner Tyla chose to forgo the scary and sensual Halloween themes this year and go for nothing but meme nostalgia for her Halloween costume pick. Fans loved the “Water” singer for her ‘perfect comedic timing’ and for letting her ‘weird’ side slip, which hadn’t happened since her victory at the Grammy Awards. While popular for her elegance and smooth performances on stage, the meme showed the singer to be ‘as good at going viral for laughs as she is for music videos’.

A participant posted, “this is the most unserious person on the internet,” whereas another posted, “She’s perfect and funny and goofy wow.”

Another person contributed, “The only thing new about this video is the lighting ????. She slayed this fr, including the reflection from the ring light in the back.”

Fans are still going wild.

One of the comments seen posted on the video link was, ‘Look she does have a personality,’ while another read, ‘This the funny/goofy typa women we be talking about.’
