What’s More Disappointing ‘Westworld’ Season 3 or ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8?

Westworld Season 3’s overnight ratings aren’t getting better even with a quarantined audience. Westworld maybe cancelled due to ratings. Its really interesting; however, its overly complicated plot and timelines makes it hard for people to connect.

According to Showbuzz Daily, Westworld finished 44th for cable originals on Sunday, March 22, managing a viewership of 780,000, finishing below the season 10 finale for Curb Your Enthusiasm, a show with a much lower budget. The top show of the night was AMC’s The Walking Dead.

The show could be taking a hit because season 2 wasn’t the greatest season and it took over a year and a half to comeback. The delay of season three might have something to do with the set being burned down in flames in the midst of the Californian wildfires in November. The Western Town set at Paramount Ranch was destroyed by the Woolsey Fire to the point that the fictional town is completely unrecognisable. Still if season three was epic the ratings would go up just simply off of word of mouth.

Another, disappointing show was Game of Thrones. Most of the seasons of Game of Thrones were great especially the first five. Season six and seven could have better writing but still had those “WTF” moments. The final season of Game of Thrones was very disappointing and unsatisfying. The first two episodes of the final season was well done and respectable. The next four episodes should have been rolled up in a paper ball and then thrown away. Probably should have lit a match and burn the trash as well to make sure no one has to read or watch that bullsh*t.

The cast of Game of Thrones pretty much warmed us that the show was going straight to hell anyway.

The ratings for Game of Thrones was of course very high throughout the whole season but the script felt very lazy. The cast did a great job acting but without a script it doesn’t matter. If the script was actually good then Emilia Clarke probably would have won an Emmy. The production side was lazy they had Starbucks coffee cups and water bottles in scenes. The third episode was very dark. You probably didn’t know who to root for because the episode was so dark.
