Why Did Sasha Banks and Naomi Walk Out?

WWE made the announcement to suspend Sasha Banks and Naomi and strip them off their Women’s Tag Team titles a week ago on SmackDown. The company is going the extra mile to make sure the ruling sets a precedent.

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio said that the booking decision pitched to Sasha and Naomi on Monday was a tipping point for Sasha, and she was already upset that she was bumped off the SmackDown women’s title match at WrestleMania once Ronda Rousey came in.

Sasha Banks and Naomi’s merchandise was allegedly taken off the WWE shop so that neither woman makes merchandise money during their suspensions.
