Michelle Obama, arguably the greatest first lady of all time. She is one of the most iconic figures of our lifetime. Her story is just remarkable. The former first lady is a black woman from the south side of Chicago. She graduated from Princeton and Harvard Law School. Two of the top schools in the countries. If I had a daughter I would want her to strive to be like Michelle Obama.
Her new book is called “Becoming” set to release on November 13th of this year. Michelle is giving us her journey through out life in this book. She said “Writing ‘Becoming’ has been a deeply personal experience,” Mrs. Obama made the announcement on Instagram yesterday.
The book will be published by Crown, a Penguin Random House imprint, which acquired world publication rights of it along with a book by former President Barack Obama in February. (The undisclosed details of the deal, which The Financial Times reported at $65 million, have been subject to widespread speculation.) Crown said in a statement the book will touch deeply in her childhood, college life, motherhood, white house experience, and more. I really believe everybody should get this book when it comes out but mainly black women should get it. She’s such a great example of a black woman.
