Nominations for the 74th Emmy Awards were today, recognizing an abundance of exceptional new programming and talent, returning favorites and veteran performers, and a broad spectrum of innovative storytelling across multiple platforms.
Quinta Brunson makes Emmys history, becoming the first Black woman to earn three same-year nominations in the comedy categories. Brunson’s co-stars Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, and Sheryl Lee Ralph received nominations for their roles in ‘Abbott Elementary.’
Zendaya earns an Emmys nomination for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work in Season 2 of ‘Euphoria.’ At 25, she becomes the youngest woman ever nominated for producing at the Emmys, in addition to being the youngest two-time lead acting nominee ever. She also became the first Black woman to be nominated for acting and songwriting in the same year at the Emmys.
Sydney Sweeney earned her first two Emmys nominations this year for ‘Euphoria’ and ‘The White Lotus.’
Selena Gomez is the second Latina since Salma Hayek in 2007 to receive a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer on ‘Only Murders In The Building’ at the 2022 Emmys.

Chadwick Boseman has received a posthumous Emmy nomination for his role in ‘WHAT IF..?’
Amanda Seyfried earned an Emmys nomination for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her work in ‘The Dropout.’
‘Squid Game’ makes history as the first non-English language series to be nominated at the Emmys. HoYeon Jung and Lee Jung-jae is officially Emmy nominee.
RuPaul (RuPaul’s Drag Race) and Nicole Byer (Nailed It) earned reality program hosting nominations at the 2022 Emmys.
Lizzo is officially an Emmys nominee for ‘Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.’
Martha Kelly and Colman Domingo have received Emmy nominations for Best Guest Actor & Actress in a Drama Series for ‘EUPHORIA’ Season 2.
‘Adele One Night Only’ has been nominated for five Emmys.
‘One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga’ received court Emmys nominations.
Dave Chappelle’s Netflix special ‘The Closer,’ which sparked controversy for its anti-trans jokes, has been nominated at this year’s Emmys.

‘Stranger Things’ stars Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink were not nominated at this year’s Emmys. The cast of ‘Pachinko’ surprisingly didn’t receive any nominations in the actor or actress categories at the Emmys.
