A wig shop owner in DTLA was stabbed to death to death by two teenagers on Saturday.
Du Young Lee, a 56-year-old man was killed because he chased and confronted two teenagers that stole from his store.
Lee owned the wig shop for over 20 plus years. Neighboring store owners said, “Lee was a righteous, honest, and hardworking man that worked seven days a week. Never took a day off.”
The two teenagers, a boy, and a girl fled the scene after killing Lee. They were quickly found and arrested after the girl went on Instagram Live to brag about killing him. The two were charged in juvenile court with murder and robbery. Their identities were not made public because they are minors.
