Peacock has extended Love Island USA for the ninth season following its record summer for the dating reality show. The Emmy-nominated host Ariana Madix will return for the ninth season of the show.
This extension will expand Peacock’s Love Island portfolio to include the third seasons of Love Island: Beyond the Villa and Love Island Games, which will premiere in 2027.
The news comes ahead of the season eight reunion of Love Island USA, airing Monday at 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. This season of Love Island will reunite the winners, couples, and bombshells of the eighth season with co-hosts Madix and Andy Cohen from Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Since the season eight began airing on June 2, the show has been viewed for more than 19 billion minutes, according to Peacock.
It topped the list of the most-watched streaming titles of summer 2026 so far and has held that spot for six consecutive weeks, according to data Nielsen released between May 25 and July 12, 2026.
According to data Peacock released, more than 35% of Season 8 viewers were first-time viewers of the show.
Love Island USA is produced by ITV America in partnership with Lifted Entertainment and Motion Entertainment (a WPP Media company) and distributed by ITV Studios.
