27-Year-Old Georgia Mother Arrested After Footage Shows Her Dragging Her Daughter Through The Grass By Her Hair

A horrific video of a Georgia mother dragging her child across a meadow has gone viral on social media.

Samarria White, 27, was arrested by Bibb County deputies after she was caught on camera dragging her child by the hair through the grass. White is also seen striking the child in the face in the video.

According to the arrest report, the video was shot by a concerned neighbor whose children were playing at White’s house. Deputies were told by a neighbor that White became enraged and sent everyone home.

When one of the neighbor’s children noticed White chasing after her daughter, the neighbor began filming. According to the arrest report, deputies went to White’s house and questioned her about the incident. Deputies said she denied dragging her daughter.

According to the report, the child was taken to the hospital after the redness on her chest began to bruise.

Deputies booked White into the Bibb County Jail for first-degree child cruelty. According to jail records, she was released on a $20,000 bond on Friday morning.
