Michael Thomas was killed in Lancaster by police the same day that Robert Fuller was found hanging from a tree. The 62 year old, was killed in his living room after deputies responded to reports of domestic violence inside the home this morning. The family says he and his fiancee were only having a verbal argument and he did not need to be detained.
The sheriff’s department says Thomas was resisting deputies and reached down to try to take one of the deputies guns, when they shot the disabled man and killed him.
Apparently four cops had him pinned down and another shot him in the back.
Thomas’s wife Kimberly and the family’s attorney Bradley Gage said Michael Thomas was only trying to turn away from deputies from the officers when they opened fire on him.
The shooting occurred at 5:23 a.m. in the 600 block of West Avenue H12, the sheriff’s department reports.
