The Denver Broncos cheerleader recently went viral on TikTok after people realized how different her job as a sideline cheerleader is from her daily work as a critical care nurse.

Ann-Marie Muscarello’s TikTok video alternates between two different scenes of the same person. On one side, she performs high-energy cheerleading routines as a Broncos cheerleader in front of tens of thousands of fans. In another scene, she appears wearing teal scrubs, working as a nurse.

Many viewers liked the stark comparison, and people commented that they didn’t realize there could be a professional cheerleader in the NFL who also works at the bedside. The video gained popularity among nurses, football fans, and cheerleaders on TikTok, Instagram, and X.

According to Ann-Marie Muscarello’s profile, she attended the University of Florida and earned her nursing degree from UT Health in Houston. She has many years of experience as a critical care nurse, travel nurse, and IV hydration therapy provider.

During the pandemic, she worked in hospitals across the country, which she says improved her critical care skills and increased her awareness of the importance of general health and wellness.

Alongside her travel nursing, she founded Hydration House IV, a wellness lounge in Denver’s Cherry Creek area that provides IV therapy for recovery, energy, and preventive health.

In her free time, Muscarello works as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader, brand ambassador, and content creator with more than one million followers. She has been featured in various national campaigns, including a Nurses Week commercial featuring FIGS scrubs and NBC’s Dancing With Myself show.

Her TikTok account has more than 18 million likes since it launched in March 2020. Her content includes dance and lip-sync videos, as well as vlogs where she talks about being a travel nurse.

The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders were founded back in 1993 and consist of 28 people led by director Shawna Peters. While they perform in all games, they also spend about 1,000 hours a year doing charity work and participating in events across Denver and Colorado.

While many appreciated the glamour of sideline work, the video also reminded many how challenging it is to do two jobs at once. In the comments, many nurses described how exhausting 12-hour shifts were, while others praised the balance.
